Halloween 2009...

For Halloween this year, Emilia was Batgirl and Tristan was Superman. Emilia was so excited to go trick or treating. She kept walking up to the doors, ringing the doorbell, saying "PEAS!," getting her candy from them, and then said "Oh, Thank you!" as she left. The most polite little trick or treater. :)

I painted a shirt so Baby Girl could go as a pumpkin.

YAY for snow!

We got our first snow for the year in Helena last night! It was not a lot but enough that the kids could go out and play in it for a bit. Emilia loved it. Tristan was not so sure...it was his first time out in the snow.

For some reason, Tristan kept taking his boot off and then tried to get his sock off too.

Photo shoot with the kids and belly shots

I got the camera out and shot some pictures of the kids before the new baby comes. Emilia has not been cooperative in the past so I just now got pictures of her holding the letters to spell out T-W-O.

I was also lucky enough to get some Halloween pictures of the kids. Emilia loves pumpkins!

And we wanted some pictures of my baby belly before she comes. Emilia likes to give her kisses already and Tristan likes to pat my belly.

Emilia's favorite movie...

...is Snow White! She watched it for the first time a few days ago and is asking to watch it now. She has a Snow White dress too and wanted to dress up and watch the movie today.

In a trance watching the movie.

We have one chair that both kids ABSOLUTELY love! It is usually a fight between them as to who gets to sit in it. Well, on this particular day, they decided (on their own!) to share the seat to watch Veggietales. Such brotherly/sisterly love! I hope they stay like this forever!

Scarecrow building...

While my dad was here over the weekend, we went to the mall for a harvest party. They had scarecrow building, crafts, and cookies. The kids had a great time!

Before we went to the harvest party, we took a walk down the street because some neighbor kids were having a lemonade stand. Emilia wanted to ride her bike down there. The kids told us it was 25 cents for one Kool-Aid. We told them that we would take two. One of the girls said "That will be a dollar." LOL! We asked them how many quarters are in a dollar and they said four. Then we asked how much two quarters was and the little boy said "fifty cents!" We then said so how much would TWO drinks be? "Oh! Fifty cents!" the little boy told us. Nothing like a Math lesson on a Saturday morning. :-)

Emilia had a great time making her scarecrow. It was just a balloon with stickers but she made it herself!

She has been playing with Mr Potato Head a lot these days so she is getting good at placement of nose, mouth, eyes, etc.

Daddy held the scarecrow while Emilia put the hair on.

Looking good!

The two finished products. (Tristan got a little help with his!)

He loved it!

Emilia's artwork

She also got a butterfly tattoo on her hand.

After we made scarecrows, made a picture, and got a tattoo we had cookies...

...they were so good!

What a fun time we all had!

The old desk...

My mom and dad had this cool old desk that they gave us when they moved. It was a desk that I had spent lots of time playing with when I was little and now my kids love to play with it. It just needed a few screws to make the seats and desk tight and it is perfect.
