They said what?!

So, on the way home from Walmart last night, Emilia had her stuffed animal, Lamby, with her. She also had the recipt from our shopping adventure. She kept covering and uncovering Lamby's eyes, saying "Where Lamby? Here is!"

She has been waking up in the morning and from naptime saying "I go Oma's owe-sss!" She is SO excited to go to my parent's house and wants to leave right now. Lucky for her, we are leaving right after lunch.

Emilia and Tristan are both fascinated by helecopters and airplanes! There is an Army helecopter on display near the airport and we pass it everytime we go somewhere. Emilia yells "Heck-a-coper!" and even has Tristan yelling "Heg-a-gaga!" (He is only 13 months old!!!) It is very cute. We are going to have a picnic near the small airport by my parent's house while we are there. It should make both their days!

Tristan...

...is FINALLY going from a tummy position to a sitting position! :)

Okay, a little background on that since you are probably asking "isn't he 13 months old?!" So we moved the end of February into a new house in Montana. The house has all hardwood floors on the main level and so Tristan was not on his belly much. He would just scream! (Think cold Montana winter and hardwood floors!) So he mastered scooting around on his butt and was doing just fine. We got some area rugs but he still did not like being on his tummy. I talked to the pediatrician and she said that since that was the only delay he had, she was not concerned. She did say to force time on his tummy even if he screamed and if there was no improvement in 3-4 weeks, call for a follow-up appointment. Well, he was making progress. About 2 weeks ago, he started army crawling all over the place. He tries to get on his knees but does not really crawl. Well, yesterday, I went into his room to get him up for the day and he was sitting on his butt! I made a big deal over it to encourage him. All day he kept it up, going from tummy to butt to tummy to butt. YAY! This is great progress! Now we can start to work on walking.

Now for Emilia...We are leaving tomorrow for my parent's house in California. My sister is getting married on Saturday and we are heading out for that. Well, Emilia has caught on that we are going to "Oma's house" and is SO excited about it! Whenever we get into the car, she asks "Go Oma's ow-ssss?" I hope the drive is not too long for her! It is going to take us about 18 hours to get there. She keeps telling her baby doll, Grace Grace, and her stuffed animal, Lamby, that we are going to Oma's. She is so sweet!

Playing around with the camera...

I picked up my camera on Saturday morning and shot some pictures of my happy kiddos during breakfast.

Emilia is very attatched to her Bitty Baby "Grace Grace!" She takes her everywhere.

We got some of the fence put up over the weekend and only had one little snag...Steve hit one of the sprinkler lines and had to go to Lowe's to get something to fix the little hole. Once that was done, we were off and doing great!
