Christmas Eve...

All dressed and ready to go to Christmas Eve service at Church.

Emilia put out cookies for Santa!

YAY for more snow!

Tristan and Emilia love to play out in the snow! Good thing it sticks around for a while in Montana!

Our Christmas card picture for 2009.

Mmmm...spaghetti night!

Yummy! Tristan LOVES spaghetti!

Let's make a gingerbread house...

Emilia and I made a gingerbread house together. She had SO much fun! She ate more candy than actually put it on the house. Oh well! She was very proud of the finished product.

The supplies:

Getting the icing ready.

The house is glued together and ready for decorations.

So excited!

Putting a gumball roof on.

So fun!

This is messy!

She did a great job with the small pieces of candy.

Look at the serious look on her face!

YAY! It is all done!

The many faces of Tristan...

Tristan was being silly one day so I tried to catch all the funny faces he was making.

...and one of Elizabeth because she is too cute!

1 month old already!

December 3, 2009
WOW! Where did that month go?! She is getting so big. I am aiming to take a picture every month like this to show how she is growing through the first year.

Tristan - looks like he is plotting something. Hahaha!

Emilia - She loves this hat and wears it ALL the time!

Sisterly love...

The kids just adore Elizabeth! They are really cute with her too. These pictures were taken on November 29, 2009.

Dancing with Santa...

Emilia found a plastic Santa when we were decorating for Christmas. She LOVED that thing! She danced with it, ate with it, and even slept with it.

Thanksgiving 2009

On Tuesday night, Tristan fell in the mudroom and hit his head on the corner of the wall. It swelled up so fast and he was acting sleepy so off to the ER he went. They did an xray of his head and everything was fine.

Elizabeth on her first Thanksgiving

Such BIG eyes she has!

Sisters

Tristan, Emilia, and Elizabeth

Say cheese!

Poor Tristan! He fell and scrapped his nose when we went for a walk this afternoon before naptime.

Buzzing Prayers for David

Father, please heal David Newkirk quickly and completely…

David Newkirk has a condition called Guillain-Barre Syndrome. He is very sick in a hospital bed in Pasadena. He asked that his Christian brothers and sisters pray for him with the above prayer.

Read more at: http://www.thetippingpointsblog.com/2009/11/prayer-for-david/

Our good friend and Brother Mark McCune sent an idea that they did for a friend of DTS when he was sick. They gave him a prayer beeper.

David has a standard numeric beeper (pager) with him and what we are asking you to do is every time you pray for him, send a page. This will let David know that his brothers and sisters around the world are lifting him up to our Father and will be a witness to Him for the people around David when they hear buzzes coming in and ask “why does your beeper go off so often?”.

What a huge and wonderful thing!

The pager is numeric only, so just send your prayer location. Here are the instructions:

Every time you pray for David let him know where you are in the world, send him a page with the following numbers:

Country Code – (USA=01, UK=44, India=91, etc.)

Area/District Code – (626=Glendora/Pasadena, 909=San Dimas, etc.)

If I happen to be in San Dimas – my prayer location would be 01909 (USA, San Dimas).

Here are the pager details:

To send via telephone or cell phone:

Dial his pager number: +1 (626) 231-4107 +1 (626) 231-4107

Wait for beeps….

Enter your prayer location: (eg: 01909) then #

Wait for beeps….

Hang up.

To send via website:

Web Site Address: http://www.usamobility.com/send_a_message/index.asp

When asked for pager number, put in: 6262314107
